Pensioner crash victim named

THE HENFIELD pensioner who died in an Upper Beeding crash on Friday March 23 has been named.

Leonard Page, of Parsonage Road, left the A2037 Henfield Road at around 10.45pm and collided with a tree near Blesswell Farm, say Sussex Police.

The 82-year-old was driving a Peugeot 207.

Officers investigating the cause of the collision would like to hear from anyone who may have seen the car shortly before the collision or anyone who witnessed the collision take place.
