Praise for ‘majority’ of people who stayed at home in Bognor Regis, Littlehampton and Worthing

The Coastguard carried out proactive patrols between Bognor and Worthing at the request of Arun District Council.

In a post on social media, a Coastguard spokesman said: “We’re pleased to report that most people are following the current advice and staying at home...

“Words of advice were given to some people however it’s great to see the majority are staying home and following Government guidelines.

“We will be back out tomorrow ensuring that people staying safe.”
