Road closed in Bognor while emergency services deal with incident

A man has been taken to hospital after a collision between a vehicle and a pedestrian in Bognor.

Police responded to a report of a collision involving a vehicle and a pedestrian in Hotham Way, Bognor Regis, shortly after 10am on Saturday (August 29).

The pedestrian – a man – was taken to St Richard’s Hospital in Chichester with minor injuries, according to police.

An eyewitness reported seeing five or six police cars blocking off the road close to the hospital.

The road was partially closed while emergency services dealt with the matter, but it has since reopened, police added.
