The A280 is shut both ways due to electricity work between the A24 Findon By-Pass (Findon Roundabout) and A27 Arundel Road (Angmering / Clapham junction), the AA said.

Two lanes are closed and traffic is queueing due to an accident on A23 Northbound from the A23 at Handcross to the M23 at Junction 11 (Pease Pottage). Lanes one and two, of three, are closed.

The AA said a vehicle has left the carriageway and the incident is affecting traffic heading towards Crawley.

Butts Lane is shut due to ice from Coopers Hill to Butts Brow. Police have closed the road.

There is queueing traffic on the A259 Bexhill Road eastbound near Bridgeway in the construction area. Temporary traffic lights are in place affecting traffic heading between Bexhill and Hastings.

Danegate is impassable due to snow around Blackdon Hill, according to the AA. Reports suggest vehicles are stranded due to the conditions caused by Storm Darcy.
