Road collision with bridge disrupts trains between Brighton and Lewes

Train services between Brighton and Lewes face disruption after a vehicle collided with a bridge this evening (Monday, November 2).

Southern, which runs the trains on the route, said services are having to run at reduced speed on all lines.

Trains may be cancelled or delayed.

The incident is believed to have happened in Moulsecoomb, just outside Brighton.

Disruption is expected until around 7.45pm, Southern said.
