Rubbish dumped along main road in South Harting

Highways was called to clear piles of rubbish fly-tipped along a main road in South Harting on Saturday night.

The waste was strewn along the B2146, according to a spokesman from Chichester Police who was tweeting from the scene.

The spokesman said: “Do you recognise the rubbish? Did you pay someone to get rid of it for you?

“Please call us on 101 quoting CAD 1551 of 16/5/20.”

Police confirmed the rubbish was cleared from the road by Highways and was due to be collected in due course.
