Small Dole road blocked after house fire
A road in Small Dole has been closed this evening (Saturday November 1) following a fire at a bungalow.
The A2037 Shoreham Road in the village, which is near Henfield, has been blocked in both directions between the New Hall Lane junction and the Nep Town Road junction.
Reports are that the bungalow was unoccupied.
West Sussex Fire service say that their first appliance arrived at the scene a few minutes after the alarm was raised.
Swift work by the crews brought the blaze under control and the firefighting operations have now been scaled down.
