Sussex traffic: Angmering A259 reopens after 'chemical spill'

The A259 in Angmering has reopened this morning (Wednesday, June 11) following a ‘chemical spill’.

Sussex Police closed the road in both directions at the Roundstone Roundabout last night (Tuesday).

A spokesperson for the force said: “The A259 Roundstone Bypass is currently closed in both directions at the junction of Roundstone Roundabout in Angmering due to a chemical spillage.”

A diversion was put in place and drivers were asked to avoid the area.

The road has reopened this morning, according to AA Traffic News.
