Sussex traffic report: Congestion on A27 and A259 this evening

Here’s the latest traffic news for East and West Sussex this evening (July 7).

At Worthing, there’s currently congestion on A27 Westbound before Toby Carvery.

On the A259 at Lancing, there’s reports of very slow traffic on Brighton Road both ways around The Car Garage, in the roadworks area.

In Brighton, there are narrow lanes due to construction on A259 Kings Road around A2010 West Street. Outside the Odeon.

Over in East Sussex, there are temporary traffic signals on the A259 in Eastbourne due to construction on Pevensey Bay Road at Tanbridge Road.

And back west in Chichester there are temporary traffic signals due to water main work on A286 Lavant Road at Raughmere Drive.
