There is slow moving traffic on Browning’s Hill near Cowfold, according to the AA. Temporary traffic signals have been put up due to construction on A272 Station Road at Thornden.

In Worthing there is slow traffic both ways on the A27 before the Toby Carvery, according to the AA. The AA said there are delays of about eight minutes but the delays are getting longer on Crockhurst Hill Eastbound between A27 Arundel Road and A27 Upper Brighton Road.

There are reports of an accident involving a van on A2040 Upper Avenue in Eastbourne, said the AA. Both ways between A259 Upperton Road and Carew Road are affected but traffic is currently coping well.

The A24 northbound at Southwater is open again and the A259 at Rye between the Kettle of fish roundabout and the Harbour Road junction is open again as well.
