Two hurt after collision between Horsham and Crawley

Two people were taken to hospital after a two-car collision on the A264 between Horsham and Crawley this morning (Thursday May 7).

Emergency services were called to the incident between Great Daux Roundabout and the Rusper Roundabout at around 11.15am.

One lane of the road was blocked by the crash, and one car was on its side.

A man and a woman, both aged in their 20s, were taken to East Surrey Hospital, a spokesperson for South East Coast Ambulance Service said.

It is believed no life-threatening injuries were sustained.

Two vehicles collided on the same road near Faygate at around 7.45am.

Initial reports suggest the earlier incident involved a Volkswagen Polo and an Isuzu with a trailer.

One person was taken to East Surrey Hospital with a minor head injury.
