Two in hospital after collision in Uckfield

Police were called to Rocks Road, Uckfield shortly before 2pm on Wednesday (April 28).

A van and a car were involved in the incident, according to police, and the drivers of both vehicles have been taken to hospital for further treatment.

One driver suffered a potentially serious injury, while the other had minor injuries, police said.

The road was closed temporarily while emergency services attended the scene, and to allow both vehicles to be recovered. It has since reopened.

The air ambulance was also called to the scene but was not required.
