Two taken to hospital after crash near Ravenside Retail Park

Two people have been taken to hospital following a crash next to the Ravenside Retail Park, in Bexhill.

Pictures from the scene show a vehicle on its side outside the Angels MOT and Service Centre in Brett Drive, Bexhill which is opposite the western entrance and exit to the retail park.

The incident happened at 2.45pm on Monday (March 29).

A spokesman for the South East Coast Ambulance Service said two people were taken to hospital for further checks.

He added: “I can confirm we were called to the scene at approximately 2.45pm. Two people from the car were assessed and treated at the scene and have been taken to Conquest Hospital for further checks.”

East Sussex Fire also attended to make the scene safe.

A spokesman said: “We were called at 14.45 to reports of a road traffic collision on Brett Drive, Bexhill which has left a car on its side.

“Crews have made the scene safe and the incident has been left with police.

“There are no reports of injuries.”
