UPDATE: Firefighters called to Horsham home

Firefighters were called to a property in Horsham this evening (Friday November 16).

Crews from Horsham and Crawley attended the incident in Gilligan Close, off Blackbridge Lane, at about 5.15pm.

A spokesman for the fire service said a smell of burning was reported coming from the property.

The smell was believed to be coming from a faulty piece of electrical equipment.

No action was taken by crews, the spokesman added.
