UPDATE: M23 lanes closed around Pease Pottage following accident
Drivers have faced long delays around the Pease Pottage and Gatwick area following an accident this evening (Friday May 10).
One lane remains closed due to the earlier accident and barrier repairs on M23 both ways between junction 10a B2036 Balcombe Road and junction 11 A23 (Pease Pottage).
Lane three (of three) remains closed both ways. However, traffic is now flowing well.
The accident earlier resulted in delays and queueing traffic all the way to junction 9, M23 (Gatwick Airport) with two lanes shut.
