UPDATE: Police appeal for witnesses over Faygate collision

Police are appealing for witnesses following a collision on the A264 near Faygate this morning (Monday August 15).

Officers rushed to the incident at 7.40am and had begun ‘on scene traffic control’ and shut lanes north and southbound on Crawley Road at the Faygate Lane Junction.

A male driver, believed to be in his 30s, was released from the vehicle by West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service.

He was taken to Princess Royal Hospital by Sussex Air Ambulance suffering minor injuries.
