Woman taken to hospital after car ends up on side in Southwater
A woman was taken to hospital by ambulance after her car ended up on its side in Southwater yesterday evening (Sunday May 11).
Emergency services were called to Shipley Road just before 6.30pm to find the woman trapped in the car.
The car was stabilised and the woman released by firefighters using hydraulic and electrical rescue equipment.
No other vehicles were involved in the accident.
Emergency services briefly closed the road both ways.
