Woman taken to hospital ‘as a priority’ after Brooks Green crash

Emergency services were called to the incident involving one vehicle in Coolham Road at about 7.30pm.

A spokesperson for South East Coast Ambulance Service said: “A woman aged in her 20s was assessed and treated at the scene before being taken to Worthing Hospital.

“She was suffering from back pain and was immobilised for potential injuries.

“She was taken in as a priority but was fully conscious.”

Firefighters cut the woman out of her car using hydraulic rescue equipment.
