There is slow traffic on the A27 Shoreham By-Pass Westbound after the A283 Steyning Road, the AA said.
Very slow traffic is also being reported on the A27 Polegate bypass both ways before the A2270 Eastbourne Road (the Thoroughbred Inn).
There is congestion to Thornwell Road eastbound and Cop Hall Roundabout westbound. Travel time is between ten and 15 minutes.
There is no major disruption being reported on the railway network.
