TRAVEL ALERT: Six vehicle crash on M23 near Gatwick Airport

Part of the M23 was reduced to one lane following a multi-vehicle crash this morning (Monday June 27).

Emergency services were called to the crash, southbound before junction 9 near Gatwick Airport, at about 9am.

Police said the collision involved six vehicles.

Tailbacks are being reported as far as the M25.

Police said two lanes are now open and the vehicles are now being recovered.
