Travel chaos
A QUEUE of frustrated passengers quickly built up at Bexhill station on Wednesday morning after a problem in a tunnel at St Leonards disrupted rail services between the towns.
Commuter Alan Thomassen said: "My 8:03 train to Warrior Square (which I rushed to catch) arrived at Bexhill at 8:10 but went no further!
"We were warned that it would be held at Bexhill for a while because of a problem in St Leonards. Forty-five minutes later we had to disembark because it was being sent back to Eastbourne.
"It was another thirty-five minutes before a replacement bus arrived and I eventually got to work at 9:55."
