Treasure huntat care homebuilds betterrelationships
Residents at Saxonwood care home in Battle welcomed children from Battle and Langton Primary School and visitors from the local community to join in a treasure hunt in aid of National Care Home Open Day on June 19.
The event saw everyone teaming up to complete the challenge and gave the opportunity for residents and students to meet each other to share their experiences of what a care home is like.
The idea behind the open day is to encourage local people to visit care homes in their community and to work together to develop better relationships.
