Four more trees were planted there on Saturday, all donated by Steyning residents.
The tree planting session saw the total number of new trees brought up to 15.

A Meeches quince was donated by Felicity and Charles Prescott and a pear, Doyenne du Comice, was planted by community orchard stalwart Simon Zec, in memory of his mum Sandy Zec.
Bob Platt, a Steyning Community Orchard steering group member, said: “A team of hard-working volunteers turned out in spite of a very chilly wind to assist with the planting, digging holes and driving in posts to support protective wire fences around the trees.
“This follows on from the three trees planted in February and brings the total number of new trees in the orchard to 15, the number agreed with Steyning Parish Council when the orchard was first proposed and so marks the end of the first phase of the Steyning Community Orchard plan.
