Two arrested over Littlehampton arson attack

A MAN and a woman were arrested today (Friday, August 20) in connection with an arson attack in Littlehampton.

A 25-year-old woman and a 20-year-old man, both from Littlehampton, were arrested on suspicion of arson, following a fire in the hallway of a block of flats in Bayford Road.

Fire crews from Littlehampton were called to the building at about 1.30am, and quickly put out the blaze. No one was injured, though damage was caused to a door.

The man and woman were remanded in police custody.
