Two people were taken to hospital after a car they were travelling in was involved in a collision near Sheffield Park on Thursday (May 28).
Emergency services were called to the scene on the A275 at Sheffield Green at 12.24pm. A man and a woman were freed from the rolled-over Toyota Avensis by firefighters and taken to the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton.
The woman passenger’s injuries were described as serious, but not thought to be life-threatening. The male driver sustained minor injuries.
The occupants of the other vehicle involved, a Land Rover Discovery, were treated at the scene for minor injuries.
The vehicles involved were recovered and the road was reopened around 3.40pm.
