Two people treated after car fire in Laughton

Two people were treated for smoke inhalation after a car fire in Laughton on Sunday (March 6).

Crews from Hailsham, Uckfield and Lewes were called to Lewes Road at around 10.10am to reports of a car fire in a farm building.

Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used one hose reel jet to tackle the fire and gave oxygen to two people after they breathed in smoke.
