Uck bursts its banks
THE River Uck has burst its banks at Uckfield.
Flood waters burst out of the river near Hempstead Mill, on the outskirts of the town.
The water poured on to the road, which leads to the Sussex Horse Rescue Trust and the railway line, and fields.
Heavy rain and strong winds continue to batter East Sussex with a high tide just passed on the coast.
