Six acre formal and romantic garden overlooking parkland with old roses, William Pye water feature, double white and blue herbaceous borders, yew hedges, pleached lime walks, copy of C17 scented herb garden, Medieval style potager, vine and rose alle, wild flower garden. OPEN SUNDAYS: Sussex Horse Rescue, Hempstead Farm would like to welcome new and returning visitors to our open Sunday events. You will be able to see some of our equines, read about their histories and the work we do. We provide pony rides for the children. Visit our Barn Shop and enjoy a cup of tea or coffee in our tea room. Open every Sunday until the end of August. Open 11am to 4pm, adults £2, children £1, car parking free.

SUMMER CONCERT: By the Buxted Symphony Orchestra, Sunday June 26, 7.30pm at St Margaret’s Church, Buxted Park. Works to be played. Schubert Rosamunde (excerpts) Dvorak Czech Suite and Beethoven Piano Concerto No 5 (Emperor). The soloist is Simon Ballard.
