Sam Imber, founder of charity Uckfield Community Resilience, has suffered his own disaster.
Returning home last week he found his ground floor flooded with extensive damage everywhere, including to Christmas presents.
Sam is well known for helping flood victims this year and was invited to No 10 Downing Street in recognition of his voluntary work. Together with friends he’s set up the new charity to support local people affected by incidents such as the one he suffered.
Uckfield Community Resilience is co-ordinating an appeal to help his family. Donate diretly to HSBC sort code 40-45-32. a/c: 31138952; go to Allsorts in the High Street or online at: http://gogetfunding.com/project/sam-and-tasha-flood-appeal
