Uckfield homes hit by power cut

Homes and businesses in Uckfield are without electricity this evening (March 9) after a power cut.

Repair crews are investigating the outage and expect to restore power by 8.30pm.

Properties in the TN5 area are being affected.

A spokesman for UK Power Networks said, “We’re investigating a high voltage overhead electricity line fault which has caused a power cut in the local area.

“Our engineers are working hard to fix it as quickly as possible. We are sorry for any trouble this may have caused you.”
