MACMILLAN COFFEE MORNING: Friday September 25, 10am till noon. Do support this annual fundraiser for a highly deserving cause, if you possibly can. Our nearest this year will be at the Ferry Road Surgery, Rye, where it’s being run by the Surgery Patients Participation Group.

RYE ARTS FESTIVAL: Now entering its second week, the Festival still has plenty of delights to offer. Of particular interest is the second performance of Mozart’s Don Giovanni, a wonderful production by the talented Euphonia company, in the Milligan Theatre, on Saturday evening, September 26, starting at 6.30pm. There has been universal praise for the first performance, last Saturday - well worth considering if you missed it then. Tickets cost £25, from the box office at Phillips and Stubbs in Cinque Ports Street (01797 224442).
