CHURCH SERVICES: At 9.30am this Sunday in St Mary’s, as usual on the first Sunday of the month, there will be a service of Sung Family Eucharist, followed by refreshments and a social chat in the Hall. Please make a note that the Sung Family Eucharist on Sunday September 20 will also be at 9.30am (instead of the usual third Sunday time of 11.15am).

MOBILE LIBRARY: On Wednesday (September 9) between 11.45am and 12.15pm at the Hall, do make the most of this 3-weekly visit by the Library Van. While there to borrow (or return) books, tapes, CDs or DVDs, you can also enjoy a cup of coffee or tea in the Hall.

MURDER MYSTERY EVENING: Next week I’ll hope to include a full account of this show, a sort of brilliantly dramatised Cluedo. In which we’re all involved in detecting a murderer. Enough to say meanwhile that if you enjoy a good evening out, with some gentle exercise for the little grey cells, and a fish and chip supper of the best quality, it’s well worth reserving Saturday October 3 for it in your diary.
