In St Mary’s Church on Sunday morning the monthly Sung Family Eucharist will be at its usual time, 9.30am. Everyone will be welcome at the service, and for refreshments in the Hall afterwards.

Between 1.30 and 4pm on Sunday afternoon there will be a special garden party in Iden for everyone interested in the conservation of bumblebees. This will include two talks in the village hall, at 1.45 and 3pm, followed by conducted visits to a local garden, where there will also be tea, coffee and cakes, plant, secondhand book and project stalls, and a raffle. This has been arranged by Dr Nikki Gammans, of the short-haired bumblebee reintroduction project. For more details, please give me a ring (01797 223055).

At 6.30pm on Wednesday (July 9), the Parish Council will be meeting in the Hall. For more details of the business to be discussed, please refer to the Council’s July Newsletter, which should be reaching all Udimore residents soon.
