Udimore

Because so many people want to come, the Udimore Wildlife Society meeting at 6.15 for 6.30 this evening (Friday) will be in St Mary’s Community Hall, instead of the King’s Head. Fran Southgate, Sussex Wildlife Trust’s enthusiastic Wetlands Officer will be talking to us about Wetlands, Water and Wildlife. Entry is free, donations being invited to cover expenses, and for the Trust.

To mark Palm Sunday, before the monthly 11.15am Family Service for All there will be a procession from the Hall. Afterwards there will be the customary social gathering in the Hall, with refreshments. Holy Communion will be celebrated earlier, at 8am.

Leonie Wheeler tells me that the Parsonage Farm hens are laying particularly well at present. Any of you in Udimore or Brede who would like to become new customers for free range eggs of excellent quality should contact Leonie by phone (01797 222009) or email ( [email protected] ). The eggs are very reasonably priced at £1.20 a half dozen, including regular delivery to your home.
