UPDATE: 1066 country trains reopen after '˜woman hit'

Trains to and from 1066 country have reopened after reports of a woman being hit by a train this morning (Monday, June 20).

Southeastern Railway services from Hastings to High Brooms, including Crowhurst, Battle, Robertsbridge and Etchingham, were unable to run because of the incident which blocked all lines at High Brooms.

The woman suffered minor injuries after being struck by the train.

Delays are expected until 12pm.
