UPDATE: Child rescued after becoming locked in a car in Southwater

Firefighters have rescued a child who became locked in a car in Southwater earlier this afternoon (June 24).

The incident was reported to West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service at around 1.45pm.

The car was located in Southwater Country Park and the child was released by crews using a car entry kit.
