UPDATE: Emergency services called to Newick crash

Emergency services were called to the scene of a crash in Newick this evening (Thursday, June 23).

Firefighters were called to reports that car a had collided with a bus stop and flipped onto its roof on Western Road at around 6.21pm.

Two fire crews - from Barcombe and Lewes fire stations – attended the scene and made the area safe.

No casualties have been reported.

Western Road was partially blocked at the junction of Allington Road as a result of the accident.
