UPDATE: Facebook battle for Bognor Regis to break away from Arun District Council
CAMPAIGNERS battling for Bognor Regis to gain independence from Arun District Council have taken their fight to the streets today (Saturday, September 22).
The Facebook group, which now has over 3000 members took to the town centre this afternoon to start a petition which, it hopes will lead to a debate about the issue.
The Facebook group, called Fight The Good Fight Out of Arun, is aiming to cut the town’s ties with the district council in a bid to let local decisions be made by local people.
Supporters of the campaign have turned out in full force to sign the petition today (Saturday 22).
