UPDATE: Fire at Warnham home

Firefighters were called to a home in Warnham after a fire broke out this morning (September 4).

Crews were called to the incident, in Bell Road, at around 9am.

A spokesperson for West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service said a fire had broken out in a ground floor utility room in the property and had filled the home with smoke.

The spokesperson added an electrical fault with a fridge freezer is believed to have caused the fire and no-one was injured in the incident.

Crews used four breathing apparatus, two hose reels and a covering jet to tackle the flames before ventilating the property.
