Firefighters were called to a petrol station in Crowborough this afternoon (Friday, October 30).
East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service received the call at 12:40pm and one appliance from Crowborough attended the scene on Croft Road.
The crew put a blanket of foam on top of the spill to prevent it igniting.
Advice was also given to the site manager to arrange for the drainage gullies and the forecourt interceptor to be cleared out.
Interceptors are used by service stations to help stop spilt fuel leaking into the surrounding soil and helps prevents any wider pollution.
