UPDATE: Generator fall '˜seriously injures' two pedestrians in Etchingham

Two pedestrians are seriously injured after a generator fell of a truck in Etchingham this morning (Monday, August 8).

Emergency services, including the air ambulance, were called to A265 High Street, near the level crossing, at around 6.55am.

A woman suffered a serious head injury and a man also has serious injuries, according to police.

The lorry driver is unhurt.

The road was closed eastbound at Oxenbridge Lane and the level crossing is closed.
