Astatement posted on Facebook today, cited ‘a number of health and safety issues’ had meant the plan to have limited access to areas wouldn’t work.

Signs had previously been put up around the town centre stop announcing access to the waiting area will be reduced for up to six weeks and that there would be limited access to the doors leading to the bus bays as works were carried out to replace the flooring.

The improvements began on November 9.
