UPDATE: Man arrested following Barnham shooting

A MAN in his 30s has been arrested and a weapon recovered following a shooting in Barnham today (Tuesday, October 14).

Police officers attended a house in Appletree Drive and at 9.35am a man in his 30s was arrested.

Police are not looking for anyone else.

A man in his 50s was treated at St Richards hospital for a minor injury to his chin after being shot.

Insp Neal Harvey said: “I want to thank the public for any disruption caused while we investigated this incident.

“Officers will remain in the area for some time and anyone wishing to talk to them about the incident should do so.”
