UPDATE: Man in hospital after Broadbridge Heath construction site fall

A man was taken to hospital after a fall at a building site in Broadbridge Heath this morning (Thursday April 3).

Emergency services including Sussex Air Ambulance were called to a Bovis Homes building site off Old Wickhurst Lane shortly before 9am.

A spokesperson for South East Coast Ambulance Service said the man, believed to be in his 30s, had suffered a head injury after falling approximately six metres.

He was treated at the scene and taken to Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton.

Bovis Homes have been approached for comment.
