UPDATE: Man injured after moped and car crash

A man was taken to hospital following a crash involving a moped and a car.

Emergency services were called to the collision at the junction of Kings Road and Parsonage Road in Horsham at around 9.30pm on Saturday (May 7).

Police said a 50-year-old man, who was driving the moped, suffered minor injuries.

A spokesman for the fire service said crews carried out first aid before paramedics arrived. He was later taken to hospital for further treatment.

The driver of the car, a VW Polo, was uninjured, police added.
