As previously reported, Sophie Threlfall was devastated when her whippet-cross Staffordshire bull terrier, Faith, went missing from her home in Upmarden on Sunday (September 20).

Sophie and her husband launched a desperate campaign to find their dog - which they had adopted following the news they were unable to have children.

They contacted the Observer with the wonderful news someone ‘anonymously’ returned Faith yesterday evening (September 24).

“Faith was anonymously returned to neighbouring West Marden yesterday at 4.30pm,” said Sophie.

“Our campaign worked its magic.”

Sophie has thanked everyone across the Observer area for helping her find Faith.
