UPDATE: Multiple vehicle crash in Bexhill injures man

A man was injured after a crash involving multiple vehicles in Bexhill this afternoon (Monday, April 18).

East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service were alerted to the crash just outside Little Common, which it says involved a car and a van, at around 11.50am.

No one was trapped so no action was required by firefighters who left at about 12.10pm.

The man was treated by South East Coast Ambulance Service paramedics at the scene but declined further hospital treatment.

The road was partially blocked in both directions at Sandhurst Lane but has now been reopened with slow traffic, according to BBC Travel.

Other sources suggested up to five vehicles were involved in the incident.
