UPDATE: Police identify the body of man found in Climping

POLICE have today (Tuesday, December 3) announced the identity of the body of a man found in Climping, on Wednesday morning.

The man has been identified as Timothy Redman, 60, of Elms Farm, Ancton Lane, Middleton-on-Sea.

His body was discovered in a field near the A259 Grevatts Lane, at 11.30am.

Several police officers and an ambulance responded to the discovery. However, he was pronounced dead at the scene.

A spokeswoman from Sussex Police said that his death is not being treated as suspicious and that the coroner’s officer had been informed.
