UPDATE: '˜Severe' three-car crash near Gatwick Airport

All lanes have now been re-opened following a three-car crash near Gatwick Airport.

Very slow traffic remains on M23 northbound between junction nine for Gatwick Aiport and junction eight, because of the earlier accident which has now been moved onto the hard shoulder.

Drivers should be aware there is congestion up to junction ten for Crawley.
