UPDATE: Tree fire on A259 tackled by Rye firefighters

Firefighters from Rye tackled a tree on fire on the A259 this morning (Tuesday, May 17).

East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service crews were called to the blaze in East Guldeford at 10.35am.

Firefighters used one hose reel to put out the fire.
